Quality standards
The highest quality of products is the priority of the ITMS group of companies. All our products comply with the strictest standards. ITMS specialists monitor quality at all stages, from production planning and procurement of raw materials to control tests before shipment to retail outlets. They are assisted in this by 4 laboratories equipped with the most modern equipment for conducting various tests and studies.
Our standards
The ITMS group of companies applies quality standards and criteria based on internationally recognized approaches – ISO 9001 Quality Management System and HACCP Risk Analysis and Critical Control Points.
Our products fully comply with all Russian and international laws. In addition, we use our own internal standards, which are often stricter than current legal regulations and are based on extensive experience in eliminating quality deviations. The ITMS Group's internal quality standards library contains more than 500 documents.
Control – at all stages
Quality control of our products is carried out at all stages of the production cycle: development and selection of materials, work with suppliers, evaluation of production processes, work with finished products and customer feedback.
Even at the stage of developing new products, we assess the potential risks that may affect the production process and consider how to reduce them in order to ensure stable quality.
At our factory in St. Petersburg, we use both automatic analyses using sensors and manual production control. We use more than 60 parameters to evaluate cigarettes, sticks and packs.
We also have an internal catalog of defects for which quality assessment takes place. It contains more than 1000 visual defects, which are recognized by the inspectors, and is constantly updated.
Laboratories and experts are on guard of quality
We regularly train employees so that they are aware of all product quality requirements, as well as take into account feedback from consumers. Additionally, we regularly undergo internal audits and cross-checks by different departments and laboratories.
In total, there are 4 laboratories operating at our production facility in St. Petersburg. A special accredited laboratory performs an accurate analytical calculation of chemical parameters to ensure consistency of quality and flavor characteristics. We use state-of-the-art equipment to perform accurate analysis: from scales capable of detecting deviations in thousandths of a gram to applying mass spectrometry methodology to analyze product components.
